Gas leak

Post by 91Bear »

Whenever I pull the truck into the garage, it reeks of gasoline. I noticed a small puddle underneath the engine (about 1/4 cup). Any ideas where that is coming from? I don't see any leaks under the hood and it is running fine.

fuel pump or the fuel filter ... maybe even the thumb screw on the bottom of the fuel filter is loose (could be why you wouldnt see it).. try looking directly above the puddle or right after you park it stay with it and try to see where it is dripping from.

might have to feel around a bit to see where it is wet...
