From Fordman;
'that photo is of a 70-72 with ac and power steering. the ac is a aftermarket or dealer installed type not a factory way of putting the cooler on. the factory way of putting the cooler on is that it stands up instead. the reason it was put upwards on a factory a/c truck was that it was in the way if it was pointed down. i ran into that when i put the factory a/c setup on my truck. it had dealer air on it before. and the cooler pointed downward. when i put the factory air pulley on the enigne i had to do it like the factory did and face the cooler pointing upwards. because it wanted to hit the compressor or something in that area.'
