Where to find clyinder heads for 352
I am needing some help and advice on where to find clyinder heads that will give me some higher performance out of my 352. I had it rebuilt a couple years ago and at that time they installed a 270H comp cam, edelbrock 4bl intake and I added headers. It runs decent but I would like some more performance. Would you recommend buying different heads. If so where would I find them? Or can I have the stock head improved upon? Thanks

Edelbrock and blue thunder make FE heads, other than that, you could perhaps check the classifieds on the FE Forum.
You would need to find out what the casting number of the existing heads is so that you can compare the combustion chamber sizes and you need to be cautious because larger valves may strike the cylinder wall without modifications on a 352.
Was the engine bored and were the pistons replaced when it was built...

No the same pistons were used. I called edelbrock and they said that the 390 heads would not work cause of the cylinder bore.

Sounds like they don't know what they are talking about. Again.67fordkc wrote:No the same pistons were used. I called edelbrock and they said that the 390 heads would not work cause of the cylinder bore.

Check out the FE forum, I seem to recall some of those guys were reliving the cylinder walls to use larger valves. (I have never messed with a 352)
You could also contact Scott Vincent over there and see what he thinks he can do as far as porting them.
