vibration dampner bolt
lefty loosey, correct? i have put a peice of would and jammed the crank from turning and i can not get this bolt to budge. what gives?

What gives? Well, obviously not the bolt!
Yep, turn it counter-clockwise at you're looking at the head of the bolt. These are always a PIA to remove, since they're put on with a lotta torque. All I can suggest is giving the head of the bolt a good rap or two with a ball-peen and then find a longer cheater bar. It'll come out.

It should only be torqued to about 65 ft-lbs.
If you've got an impact wrench, it should be really easy.

the longer the lever the easy the pull. sort of like that one saying. the one the girls always joke abotu. the longer the because it isnt the motion of the ocean. becuase they get sea sick easily.
