re: Send me some pics
Does it matter if the truck isn't all together? My front end is all off right now for paint but I can make a gallery as soon as I get it back together in a couple of weeks if you like.

sad thing is thats how it was snapped by the cell phone so point no.1 pictures taken on a phone are just too cropped to begin with.
so now to get one from a dig cam.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

re: Send me some pics
Cell-phone cameras in general probably aren't the best to use for something like this. I agree, a decent-quality digital camera is very much preferred.
I'll be taking a look at some of the pics probably this weekend and will see what I can use from what's been submitted so far.

Hey Keith!
I got me one of those NEW KODAK INSTAMATIC CAMERAS that use that new film.
You know the one that the film comes in a convenient cartridge!
All I need now is some Flash bulbs!
Anyone know where I can get some?
Lawrence

Keith, I thought I would bring this up again. See the 4th to the last post. Again, I am not a photographer, but I know good pics when I see them. Unfortunately on this site I see too often pics that do not bring out the best in the subject matter of the photo. That goes for my pics too, but these pointers serve as a good reminder. I know this sounds a little arrogant, but let's face it, this isn't a photographers forum for a reason. It's a truck forum!

This magazine has perhaps the best photographers in the automotive magazine world. Their website has just a sampling of the quality photos. Notice all the outside pics of staged photos are taken in the early morning or dusk for best light. Very dramatic. Also notice the details like making sure the hub caps all are straight showing the name and the wheels always show (not pointing the tire at the camera unless from straight on). Also notice the angles the pic was taken. Usually 3/4 front, often times very low, and sometimes straight on for effect.
Ofcourse, this is a "coffee table" style quarterly magazine, but even an amatuer can take great pics with a little planning and thought.

Keith,
You can use any thing you want from my gallery:
http://www.fordification.com/galleries/ ... ?cat=10107
or personal picture dumping ground:
http://bellsouthpwp.net/D/u/DuckRyder/
Except the one with Katherine in front of it, she doesn't like it and I have to respect her wishes.
(I don't think it would work for you anyway.)
Unfortunately I am still 500 miles from the truck so can't take any new ones for you.

Re: re: Send me some pics
Rjewkes, you have some serious lighting issues in these pics. In the first one, the light is in your face, should be in the back. The second one is in your back but there is too much saturation as the sky looks blotchy. Could just be camera settings. Not trying to bag on you, just trying to help you take a better pic.rjewkes wrote:How about these?:
