Watching the original on speed channel.
So far have seen one of our trucks.
The white tow truck about 5 min into the movie.
Will keep an eye out for more.

re: Original Gone in 60 seconds
I like that movie I have it on dvd. On the extra's on the movie they show a beat up mustang that was used in the movie. It still runs, and although it is beat up, the paint still shines. I wonder if they only used two cars, like it shows in the movie.

re: Original Gone in 60 seconds
Now watching a hell of a chase scene with what looks like a 72 tow truck towing a dodge charger in the movie.
This sheet is COOL
Awe man the charger was an R/T!!!!!
Another cool thing is he hopped into a White Freightliner cab over similar to one I used to drive with my dad

That is a 73-74 tow truck with a Challenger hanging on for dear life. I saw that movie at the Drive-in back when it first came out. It is a great movie because Toby Halicki wrote it, produced it, directed it, got family and friends to be in it and did his own driving in it. You can see some of the stolen cars have his license plates on them. One of the Rolls Royces has HJH plates on it. Unfortunately he was killed making the sequel when a stunt went wrong. Too bad as I am sure there would have been many more movies from him. The poor remake with Nick Cage in it has only made the original better. That's enough, whew .

i watched that last night again. i saw it when i was a kid too. i thought it was the greatest car chase movie ever.
no they only used the beat up mustang for the car chase. if you watched the hole thing they show that beatup mustang at the end of the movie doing burn outs and donuts after the movie.
