I just added another photo contact sheet to the existing 1972 FORD LIGHT TRUCK STYLING PROPOSAL PHOTOS page. This one is dated May 1970, whereas the other two already posted were dated 1968. As you can see, the truck pictured in the contact sheet was pretty much the way they were finally released in '72, except for some missing rear bed marker lights.
One thing you'll notice that's different on this contact sheet that varies from the others, is that there's no right-side view. I was wondering about that myself, until I happened to look closely at the rear profile shot, and noticed that the right-side bump isn't a soft-rounded bump...it's very squared-off. I'm thinking that the designers were still trying something different out on that side, and therefore didn't want to show it just yet. (Possibly they were working on a new design for that rear marker light?)
