100,000+ forum posts!

Post by FORDification »

I just noticed that post count at the bottom of the forums front page has exceeded 100,000. I was all excited until I realized that the post count displayed there is the total of remaining posts. That is, occasionally I have to delete a double-post, and those do count towards the overall post count, which is currently about 1000 more than what is shown.

For example, if I delete post #10, posts #9 and #11 are still numbered as such, but the remaining post count (the number at the bottom of the forum's main page) will drop by one. So just out of curiosity, I had to do some digging and found that Robert (rjewkes) had the distinction of getting the true post #100,000 in this post in the "Have You Ever..." thread. Congrats Robert!

And finaly without Keith(Fordification) , who started our beloved little site, We'd all not be here.

When i started out it was only to get and give info. Then as we all have I started talking about all things.
