So I got this truck for free from a conversation where I mentioned I really wanted to build a bump if I could come across one. A guy I was working with was happy to get one out of his yard and so I got my first bump (year and a half ago).
Starting from the beginning, I started with a '69 F250 4x4

And then first day after washing if up a little, started tearing it apart:

Upon inspection when tearing her apart there was a TON of rust... began with rust repair.... Cut out the passenger floor pan, pass. body support, half the kick panel, two sections of the rocker panel, and much more... which I cant to seem to find pics of.. but oh well because I stopped that project when I found a donor truck for the body:

So here I began to prepare for the '70 body to be swapped onto the '69 frame...

So then I got the cab swapped

As far as motor mods went, I put an Eldelbrock performer plus cam, intake, and carb on this 390. Along with a set of flowtech headers, and a homemade exhaust with thrush glasspacks:

Once together I knew it wasnt running right... checked compression and was low on one cylinder, found out heads had worn exhaust seats. BUT also realized these were C1AE heads on this 390... Took them to the local machine shop and had new valves, seats, springs, guides, seals, and surfacing done. Reinstalled (better phone also):

Back together, with new radiator also:

Have been working on body work more recently and decided to do dash pad delete... not entirley done but this is progress:

Shes coming along and I will try and keep you posted thanks for all the help and info!

EDIT: Hopefully fixed photos (thought I could link from google photos... guess only I could see them)
