I need a measurement please

Post by mrsnicks »

The radiator support on my truck appears to be from a truck that had a 6cyl engine. The opening is rather small, but the PO put a radiator from a V8 engine behind it. The means that not all of the fins are exposed to air. I'd like to cut the rad support to the proper size opening for a V8 engine and radiator. Any got the dimensions for the opening in the Radiator Support for a V8 equipped truck?

Thanks,
Patrick

Mine is 25" wide and 18" tall. It was a 360 3 speed originally. F-100. Hope that helps.
