Edelbrock aluminum heads for 390 FE

Ok, so they say the performer intake is more for a FE truck since our trucks do most of their work in lower RPMs. Problem is I can get a Performer intake, but they don’t make the regular performer heads for the FE. Only the Performer RPM heads for the FE. Is it ok to use the performer intake with the performer RPM heads? I assume the intake will match the RPM heads better than the original heads? Thinking new aluminum heads as by the time I get the iron heads machined, and all new stuff put in them as those valves, seats, guides, springs and such are all over 55 years old, I will not be spending much more for the all new aluminum heads! Agreed?
