1967 f100 engine removal procedure questions

I just pulled the 360 and c6 from my 71 as one, all I removed was the hood. just go slow and you'll be fine.

for a few extra inches of clearance, let the air out of the front tires.

Just make sure the hoist will go under the suspension it you let air out of tires Just like emeraldcoupe said take it slow and steady. I pulled many engines with trans still on. I put a 429 auto in my 72 shortbed with an engine crane. I did not take the hood off. That was VERY interesting to DO! It was veryyyy close to everything!!

I still had about 2" of clearance for the hoist with the tires flat, fwiw
