I need Help

When the brake light on the dash comes on and you get the problem fixed how do you get it to go off? Any help would be appreciated.

The brake distribution block has a valve in it that trips the light when it becomes off-center, due to a difference in pressure between the front and rear brake circuits. Once you've fixed the problem, you'll have to recenter the valve. Read the following thread for more information:

Thank you Keith. I'll do that as soon as Dad gets home and i get a new rear brake line put in. The wires to that light was cut when I got the truck. I hooked it back up and seen that it stayed on all the time. I guess that I should've payed more attention to it cause I was going through the feild the other day when I tapped to brakes and it blowed the steel line out on the rear. So right now all I have is front brakes. Its a scary feeling when the pedal goes that far down before it starts stopping . Talk about an oxymoron.
