you don't need another frame to tub your truck. the frame is only around 33 inches wide and that should give about 18 inches if you move the springs to the inside of the frame or use 4 link or ladder bar set up.

you really don't need cut the frame. i guess it want super huge tires but if you 15 inches of tires looks huge under your truck.
the only cutting and welding that needs to be done is maybe c nothcing and boxing it in.

if theres a new way, i'll be the first in line. it better work this time

wolf pack I have ( Pro-Streeted ) a 77 ford short wide bed, and a 65 by
moving the leafs inboard, I think that it is one of the safest ways you can
put fat Wide tires on our trucks, if you need any help Pro-Streeting your
ride, Please ask and if you do need pics I do have a set of frame pieces
aready cut off a donor truck and ready to make another steam rolling
big fat tired 73-79 Ford pickup, I have not done a 67-72 Yet but I bet its
close to the same frame as my 65 Ford short step side . If you could post
or e-mail me some pics of a bare 67-72 Frame. I would like to help so
there might be less of our trucks CUT IN HALF ,back halved! Doing it this
way you don't have to cut your truck frame or even move the spring
hangers from the factory place they are now.
P.S thanks GT racer for posting the link!

Cut ( FOUR ) pieces of an old ford truck frame that has been junked, fit them to the inside of your good frame, add weld and bolts, the leafs are now inboard, time for the (big WIDE tires)!
