Front Coil Springs are different height

Post by discman »

I just noticed that one of my coil springs is higher than the other by about a quarter of an inch. The problem is I don't remember which side was the higher spring. Anyone know about this?? :?

The larger one goes on the passenger side of the truck .
The engine is located more to the passenger side thus the larger one keeps the truck even and without a list :D

One of the springs is slightly taller, while the other one is a little larger diameter coil (by about a 32nd) I'm guessing the larger diameter coil goes on the passenger side. ??

No, the taller spring goes on the passenger side.
