Summary:
|
Ford Campaign No. 163.
Light trucks all over 6000 pounds GVW, equipped with 460-4V Calif.
engines and 4350-4V carburetors. Possibility that the secondary lockout
lever on carburetor could interfere with a throttle kicker stud on the
fast idler adjustment lever. |
Consequence: |
If this condition exists,
it could cause the primary throttle plates to be held three quarters
open and result in vehicle attaining an excessive speed. This lever
interference was caused by the replacement lockout lever in previous
recall 75-0043, dated February 28, 1975. |
Remedy:
|
Correct by inspecting and
removing the secondary lock-out lever. |
