1970 F250 4X4 Rebuild / Updating

So after getting the chassis moved, big day! I did start looking at the two Brake Boosters I have. I cleaned up the first one and have it mounted loosely. I have to pull it back and add some sealer around the plastic sleeve that goes over the actuating rod. I have a 1979 Master Cylinder to use as a core if needed, but that is the next item. I am going to buy an adjustable proportioning valve. Going to make a bracket that mounts off the booster/master cylinder to hold the valve. So good to have a couple of things done and start putting stuff back on the truck. I have some interior work now. Then I think maybe the next item will be the heater assembly.

So here are pics showing things going back on. I sealed the tube on the booster and actually tightened the bolts!

It does feel good to install something. I think I am going to do some more interior work now.

So no progress at all. It is just too hot to get out for any length of time. I have to get back to work going through my parts as I want to get going on the cab. Next is to pull out all the old wiring and start installing the painless kit I have.

So now I am just fed up with COVID and this dam heat. I am taking Thursday and Friday off and getting stuff done. I am going through my stuff and getting cab stuff pulled so we can actually get working.

Broke down and started getting stuff to work on the truck. I bought a seal kit for the Dana24 Transfer Case and the T18 Transmission. I have been working in the garage when temps allow. Got the cab moved so I have access to both sides. Now if just have a little more cleaning so I can install my two seal kits.

I feel you on the covid s**t.....but I must be part lizard because when it's hot is when I get the most work done....

Not me, I melt into a puddle. Not pretty at all. So I did spend the day working, just not on the truck. I serviced the lawn tractor and mowed. But that just means I have possibly the next three days to work on the truck and garage.

Have been picking away slowly on getting items done. Hope to do some dent removal on the cab and get closer to rewiring soon!

Worked in the garage today, finally. Realized I have to get rid of some parts. I am tripping over an FE C6 trans and it's time to put it on Craigslist.

Still plugging away, did get some things done and threw away some junk.

Got the trans listed and got an inquiry, will see where it goes.

Moved the spare 360 and set up a work bench over it. I have my center driveshaft to clean and service.

I also want to try and install the new transfer case mounts as I have seen some posts about the energy suspension units not fitting. Anyone have experience with these?

No progress, three out my back on Friday. The only thing I got done was fix a garage light then I was done for. I did receive an offer for the transmission and hope to have that gone this coming weekend.
