Windshield replacement 1968 Ford F-250
Hello, I am trying to find a shop to replace my windshield and am having a hard time finding anywhere that will do it. I live in the Charleston, SC area. If anyone can help out with any recommendations, I would really appreciate it. the seal is bad and it’s leaking water onto the driver’s side floorboard. Or if possible, can I do it myself? I’ve hear there is some rope way to do it and I am worried I won’t do it right and it will leak. Don’t want to mess up the chrome trim as I seem to be able to find the clips, but not the actual trim. Thanks!

If there's anything the glass guys hate is a New rubber seal with chrome trim.
it can be a struggle , there are some tricks but it is possible to do it yourself.
But there's always the risk of breaking the glass.
Can you find an old school body shop with older techs ? they might be able to help you.
