I did get the U-Bolt out of the evapo rust solution. I need to chase the threads and get it painted. Been tied up house stuff so not much progress.

Got the passenger side u-bolt changed out. The other side is in progress. Working on installing the driveshafts so I can get a few more things off the floor. Monday I took some more scrap to the recycler and have a few more dollars in the truck account now. So glad to be out in the garage again after my covid forced downtime.

So what a week so far. Stayed in for New years. Pulled down the Christmas Lights on Saturday and the tree on Sunday. It was 63 Degrees on Sunday and Monday it snowed 8"!

So now I have more work to do. I think I can fix the garage once I get the snow off it!

So I spent about an hour last night cleaning off the snow and propping up the garage. I have some repairs to make to the poles, but the actual cover is still good!

Now that I got a closer look at the Garage, I have some welding to do but think its 100% recoverable. Yesterday was a total wash out due to the rain, but planning on getting to it this week. I am going to make some progress even if it kills me!

So Friday I finished putting the portable garage back together. Now it's snowing again and I have to go out and clean it off every once in awhile so it doesn't get crushed again!

Did some cleaning Friday in prep for just a little snow. Took the old 44hd axle and a bunch of other scrap to recycling. $225 later I have a lot of room in the portable garage so I can move more out of the garage now!

Cool, more room is always helpful for truck parts.

Cleaned off the snow (2") from the portable garage, and moved stuff from around the truck. I was able to get the the front of the truck lifted and on Jack Stands. Verified the orientation of the front Drive Shaft, Slip Joint goes towards the Transfer Case. Mine was originally installed wrong which is why it failed.

Worked on the U-Bolts last night. Figure out I need a wider U-Bolt for the one that goes around part of the center section. The ones I have are 3 7/8" by 8" and I need one 4 1/8" by 9" to 10". I am hoping to go pick one up this afternoon.

I was able to source a new u-bolt today and get the job done. I just have to trim the tops of the u-bolts. I also got the front driveshaft correctly. I hope to be able and post the pics once I resize them.
