My new welder is amazing compared to the HF MIG110 ac unit I have been using.

This easy mig is a DC machine and welds so much better. Only a 125amp machine but great for me.

Looks like I will get more done on Friday as the humidity will break again. Going to start cleaning out the bed so I can get going on another project.

Finished the parking pad for the truck build. Another item truck related checked off the list. Took 3 loads in the 2016 F150 for a total of 4200lbs of materials moved in about 2hrs.

Got the bed cleaned out. I have to take a good look and see what areas need to be fixed. I know I need some patches in the floor and there are dents in the wheel wells. The good thing is I have the spare bed to use for patches as the sides are pretty bad.

Power washed the inside of the bed, also did the Hood and Passenger Door while the pressure washer was out. I now know the areas of the Bed that need to be addressed. I also found a spot on the inside of the hood structure I need to repair. Now I have some work to do inside the garage.

So zero progress due to overwhelming heat! I am making a go forward plan now. Looking at getting the Engine, Trans and T-Case installed then drop the cab back onto the frame. I will set the bed on stands in the garage annex to work on that while the truck is in the garage.

Man I hear ya! It's been so hot. Gonna have to hit it hard when it cools down. Best of luck to you!

So no progress still. House chores and life are taking priority. And now a little bump in my schedule due to a possible work conflict. Should have a better idea of how much conflict Monday or Tuesday. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

So it looks like my work trip is off due to a 10 day mandatory quarantine requirement. So back to cleaning. Made one trip to the scrap yard, and have a second batch almost ready. I am amazed how much scrap prices have gone up! Well back at it tomorrow.

Did the second scrap run. The first one was about 138lbs on aluminum and some small items. Second trip was 24lbs of copper and 8lbs of brass and a couple small items. Total for both trips...... $150. I feel pretty good about cleaning now. Today I was able to get rid of some straight up trash!
