OK, so the weather broke a little. We had rain

. So I started putting together the Steering Box Mounting Kit. Here is what I have done at the moment.

Coming along, still have another cut to make. But I did pull out the power washer last night to clean the frame area I will be welding on soon! I cleaned up my spare steering box to use for mock-up.

So this past weekend I moved the frame so I could put up my portable garage. While cleaning the area I realized I need lay down so stone dust before I can move forward.

So I picked up my first load of stone dust Friday. 1100lbs in my 2016 F150, handled it easy, but I need so much more. I think I am going to have 3 Tons delivered and just pay the $75 delivery fee.

So been working on my parking pad. Picked up three loads of stone dust so far.

I got the steering box set up. The kit from Battle Born Brakes is very good.

I have some grinding and welding to do but the box is bolted in and steering is hooked up! This is a huge step.

I am hoping to get some more work started tonight. I had to order longer mounting bolts so I have enough room for lock washers. Easy to do on McMaster-Carr. I want to start welding in the mounts and get the frame done in that area. Hopefully pictures to come!

Got more done today. Welded in the plates for the steering box.
