Sorry I have been lax in doing anything of substance on the truck. With the less than ideal weather and having the wife's car in the garage not much going on.

Got some more parts sorted. Found the U-Joints for the front and rear driveshafts on hand. Starting to look at the brake parts I still need or have.

Got back into the garage today and worked on parts cleanup. Good to get moving again now that the weather is better.

I hear that! I did get out on Sunday and made a Switch/Light for my compressor. I have been unplugging the compressor so it won't run when I am not in the garage. Now I have a Switch and Light for the Compressor, works great and there is no way I can miss that it is on or off!

Got more work in the garage done. Then got my second covid shot today, and stopped at HF on the way home to look at their 3 day sale. Looked at the small DC mig welder again for the tenth time. The wife said I have looked at it enough, today we get it! I am so lucky and grateful. :woohoo:

Actual work has been done on the truck! Since I have been cleaning and finding parts, I am working on the driveshafts. I have the front and rear driveshafts on the bench and working on installing the new u-joints that were on-hand. I also ordered the u-joints for the center driveshaft. This will be a good thing to check off the list. I also realized I have an extra rear and center drive shaft.

So I got the Trans and T-Case cleaned off. The Trans is back on the bench and I have started servicing it. Drained the ugly fluid out of it, not good at all. The inside of the Trans and Gears look good though. I pulled the Yoke and Tail Hsg off for cleaning. I have a gasket Kit as well as the seals. Looked at the rear bearing and it looks great.

So I pulled the Trans apart and cleaned it. Pulled the front snout and replaced the inner seal, replaced the seal in the tail shaft hsg. I pulled the shift tower off the top of the Trans and that looks great. The shift forks are showing little to no wear, everything moves smoothly and the shifter itself is not sloppy. With the top cover off I pulled the side cover and cleaned out the inside including the magnet in the bottom. Very little metal and some sludge was found. With all the inside cleaning done, I reinstalled top and side covers as well as the tail hsg and snout. Now I and cleaning the outside off painting. Hopefully pictures will be posted this weekend.
