1970 F250 Camper Special Taigate
Hello all. My son and I are looking for a tailgate for his 1970 F250. Does anyone know what year truck have the same tailgate and will the F100 from the same year also work.

Re: 1970 F250 Camper Special Taigate
The 1967 to 1972 tailgates are the same, it doesn't matter which year or model. If you can't find a good used one, Dennis Carpenter reproduces them using the original Ford tooling, and they use galvanized steel, so they don't rust out from the inside. I still see some originals occasionally on our local Craigslist here in Colorado, but good ones are becoming harder to find.

There was some differences of trim depending if you had two tone paint, a Ranger package, Sports Custom, but the tailgates are all the same
