Hi all, another weekend and no work on the truck. Hopefully will get some stuff cleaned up and put away though.

We have finished the shed rebuild 100% now. It is time to get back to work on the TRUCK! It is much more comfortable in this weather too. Took the AC out of the garage and am working to get down to the floor....hahaha. More pics to come shortly.

Slow progress here in the Mid Atlantic. Two weeks ago did the brakes on the 2016 Escape and F150. Only had to replace the rear pads on both vehicles. Front pads were at about 40% worn and the rears were like 80% worn. Truck has 50K and Escape has 51K. The other by product is the garage is cleaned up.

Still slow progress. I am getting back to work on the Cab now. Hope to have the floor patch done shortly and then figure out how to stand the Cab up to work on the floor from underneath. Any suggestions?

It's actually pretty easy to roll over on its back. Lay down a couple of blankets or swimming pool noodles for padding. Roll the windows up to about 2" open. Run a strap or rope through the windows and pull backwards while you stop the cab corners from sliding with a foot. Easier if somebody lifts it from the front while you're pulling backwards. Watch out when it passes over center. It's not all that heavy but will fall backwards pretty fast. If your glass is out like mine was it's a breeze. I did mine by myself.

Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas. The wife and I stayed home this year and had a nice quite evening and day together. I am very lucky to have her!

Today she had to work so I decided to get out into the garage. I was able to complete two projects that will help start more work on the truck.

First project was to rework my welding cart. I made a side shelf for the mig welder and cut a piece of steel for the top. I know have a much bigger work/welding surface and the ability to roll it all around the garage.

Second project was adding a folding shelf to my chop saw table. Now I will be able to make my skid for flipping my cab onto.

It was so good to actually make real progress. It has been so long since I did direct work on the truck and these two projects are direct work.

Spent the day Saturday in the garage with the wife. We were able to get a ton done. We managed to clean out almost a truck load size of trash and recycling. Found some things that were "missing" and put away a bunch of tools. The wife was able to label a bunch of draws and cabinets making it easier to find and put away things! Hopefully we will have some pictures shortly to show that the garage actually has a floor.

Great productive day it was then! And it's always nice when finding "missing" things for sure!

The wife was to the point she did not want to go in the garage it was so jammed with stuff. She is much happier now.

OK, now please don't be alarmed. I did work on the TRUCK! I know it's a huge surprise to me too. And I have pics to prove it.

I continued to clean the floor of the cab. I also did some updating of the lights in the garage. I am trying to swap out the Fluorescent for LED.
