I think this will be good. I just need to find some front hangers for the springs i have a ruff stuff shackle flip. How much did it give you in lift? Thanks for all your inputs.

It was enough that the blocks are gone now and about 3" more than stock. I also removed a couple of leafs in my rear springs.

Trying to get 3" with no blocks so sounds like it should be dang near perfect!!!

Got out to the garage today. Think I found a buyer for my old D44HD front axle as well as some other parts. Real happy about that. Did some organizing and cleaning. It was nice to do some productive work.

Just checking in. I am doing a dump run tomorrow to get rid of more junk. Work has been hectic and taking up more of my truck time.

I did get more of the old cab and 2 wheel drive frame cut up and going to take it to the scrap yard. Also got a message from the pick a part that a 1979 f2504x4 just came in. I am going tomorrow to see if I can get the steering box, shaft and possibly the column. I will see if the front axle is there and maybe get that too!

So got out of work early Friday and the wife and I went to LKQ and started getting the steering box. We got it unbolted but it wouldn't come off and it was closing time. So we went home loaded 1100lbs of scrap into the truck for Saturday morning. Got that done and headed back to the LKQ and got back to it. We got the box and shaft off. While we were working on that I noticed the truck had a king pin dana 60 in it. Called a buddy and he said he had 800 burning a hole in his pocket for it. Well we spent a few hours and 240 bucks and turned it into 800! We had a great day! We also got 59 bucks for the scrap. I paid 75 bucks for the steering box, shaft and two plastic fender liners. It was an awesome day!

Hi all, I am going to be cutting up an 8' 1970 bed for parts. If you have a need let me know. So far I am taking out both inner wheel wells and some of the floor. If you have a need let me know and I will see if I have it.

Went up to Mass for my Mother In-laws birthday so no progress this weekend. I have started getting my next load ready for the scrap yard. I have steel, copper and a little cast iron. I will try and post some pictures of the bed and axle I am taking apart to see if anyone needs some parts.

Still working on cleaning. I am cutting up a saddle tank next. I am repurposing the tank skid plate for my welding cart top. I am also going to strip the old Dana 44 HD axle. I am going to pull the hubs, drums backing plates to post for sale. I will scrap the axle housing itself. I may pull the knuckles and axle shafts. If any of you need something let me know!
