Things that make you go hmmmmmmm...
Just had this put up at work so the guys could prepare truck shipments when it rains. 20' x 40' x 10' high walls. $5500 installed on your foundation. Local carport guys. Kinda makes you think, don't it?

That is nice. I recently had a carport installed of that material. Thinking on a garage also.
In my opinion u do not save enough to make it worth installing yourself. Installing myself would have only been around $100. less on the carport. (That is not worth it to me.)

Its cheap made i think. Not big enough and not totally enclosed. But anything would be bettet than what i have.
I like those old concrete block type shops. Easy to cool and keep warm. U might check the cost of doung that instead. Or just going pole barn. Or stick built.

Unfortunately, it's not a consideration where my house is. The neighbor's would have me run out of the subdivision, hog tied and hanging from a pole. Just thought this was pretty cheap and thought I'd share. A few more years and I'll be selling and moving out to the sticks and then, with a little weather proofing, that'd be a nice start on a paint booth.

For the most part yes. As said above, they are on the skimpy side quality wise. Also remember that you'll spend double below grade as you will above. Personally I like my wooden pole building that looks exactly like a stick built garage on the outside with vinyl siding etc. Metal is OK but I don't like the aesthetics or adaptability of it.Mancar1 wrote:You can order them totally enclosed the size you want, with garage doors.
