Gentlemen, I have an interesting part to identify
This part literally fell out from behind the dash of a 1969 Ford F250 custom cab. I took out the glove box but cant see where it might of been attached.
It is 3" in length 1" in height and 1/16" in width. It has two 1/4" holes and has some paint missing in circular patterns around the holes suggesting nuts or bolts with lock washers held it on.
I'm not even 100% it originally came with the truck and might of just been stuck up somewhere until it fell out on the floor.
Please help me shed some light on this mystery.
Regards
A

Re: mystery thingy
I''m almost sure that this goes onto the glove box on the opposite side of the hazard switch to give it strength. The bolts go through the hazard switch, glove box, this part.

Re: mystery thingy
You know, that makes sense. The glove box hazard switch and mounting bracket are missing. This must be a left over from when that was removed. Mystery solved!
