Can't stay logged in

Why must I log on to each category? If I navigate from, say "drivetrain" to "engine" it makes me log on to post, even if I've checked the "log me on automatically" box.

It's a cookie issue on your computer.
Down at the bottom of every page is a link labeled 'Delete All Board Cookies'. Click that link.
Then manually confirm that all FORDification cookies in your browser have been deleted.
Then log back in.

Let me know if that works.

I just tried that. Actually I tried the same thing yesterday. Today, I get a "500" Error and drops the entire website display. Then I tried to "quote" your reply and got the same thing. I then hit my back button and now I'm replying...

No difference. If I log in, then navigate away and come back, I have to log in again. I had to log in to view the email notification of thread reply...

You'll have to go through the same procedure listed above about deleting your existing cookies. When I made the change to the cookie configuration, it changed the cookie configuration.

No no...I meant that after I instructed you to delete all your cookies, I made changes to the cookie configuration, so we're basically starting over, trying something new....so you'll have to delete all your FORDification cookies again and then log in again.

I would like to take this opertunity to let you know that it is doing the same thing to me. No big deal I usually leave this window open all the time anyhow. But also to let you know that after surfing the boards for a couple days now, I am mucho impressed. I am not much on change, but I really like the flow of the pages. Anyhow thanks for all the work

OK guys, I believe I have it fixed. It seems to be working for me now, anyway.

To check, be sure to click the link at the bottom of the page that says 'Delete all board cookies'. Then temporarily go to any page with your browser except fordification.com, so that the site is not loaded up. Verify the cookie deletion yourself by manually attempting to delete any remaining cookies from fordification.com in your browser. Now come back to the forum log-on page, fill out the info and check the box to log you in automatically.

Carefully follow these steps and then let me know if it works. It's now working for me, so it should for you as well.
