very simple..

when you work on the truck, make sure it faces east. Do NOT make adjustments during a full moon, or durnig a month that has an "R" in it.

i don't work on my truck, i just sacrifce small woodland creatures over the air cleaner ass'y at the spring and fall equinox's (with the truck facing east, of course).
