posting video

Post by 71 LONG BED »

We post pictures directly on the board all the time, that are hosted on other sites. (ie: Photobucket) Is it the phpBB program the doesn't allow us to post video directly on the board? Is there any way, that I may not know of, to do it? It would be nice to be able too, instead of just a link.

 Whoops, sorry....I must have missed this one the first time around.

Anyway...I understand your wanting to post the video itself as opposed to a link, but while video support is available, I've disabled that option to save on server space and bandwidth, since video really takes a pretty large bite out of both. Considering how easy it is to just have a third party host a video and how much hassle it saves us here, I just felt that it was the best route.

No sweat! :D I actually thought another, more knowledgeable, forum member would teach me how if there was a way. I was just curious and I'm always looking to learn more. Thanks for the explanation.
